AFRAID! THE GOSPEL OF MARK
AFRAID! is a one-man play, staged with dramatic lighting and audience interaction. Its text is the Gospel of Mark, translated into contemporary American speech at the Carolina Theatre produced by The Vision of Generation 2000 Ministries! AFRAID, The Gospel of Mark is Evangelism!
THE WINANS CONCERT
What’s hotter than the sweltering sun of July? It’s The Winans, brothers Marvin, Carvin, Michael and Ronald Winans performing at a sold out concert in the Raleigh Civic Center singing old-time gospel heat with a mixture of supple modern soul!
REV. TIMOTHY WRIGHT CONCERT
Timothy Wright, Grammy-nominated gospel singer performed at Durham High Theatre, special guest included Myrna Summers singing, “We’re Gonna make It!” If there wasn't a call for an encore at show's end, it was only because Wright had achieved a sense of completeness with his closing songs.
THE AMEN CORNER
The alumni cast from North Carolina Central University theatre department brought fervor and majestic acting onto the stage! Directed by Kenneth Hinton and produced by the Vision of Generation 2000 Ministries, the actors portray an exciting performance of the storefront churches of James Baldwin’s, "The Amen Corner!"
